Skottish 80’ Shilling Ale - 5,0% Alc.
Sir William Wallace led in 1297 the Scottish uprising for independence against the British.
The sub-name "80 shilling ale" is an older term for the strength, which had 60, 70 and 80 shillings, and thus indicate that it is the strongest type. But according to the Danish scale… Not that strong.
William Wallace has a very distinct malt aroma, a slightly bitterness from the hop and a hint of smoke
LAGER - 5,4% Alc.
BrewPub's POWER PILS is a golden lager - with a notable bitterness.
The brew master has used both German and American hops, why hints of flower and light citrus appear in the aroma.
If you like the German or American lagers… this is a beer for you!
Belgian Dubbel - 5,5% Alc.
Sankt Anna is our new Christmas beers – a Belgian "dubbel". Sankt Anna has a moderate sweetness from a relatively complex malt composition, and a very mild bitterness.
The Belgian monastic yeast contributes to fruity and spicy flavors to this Christmas beer. Further has the BrewMaster dry-hopped the beer with the New Zealand hop Rakau, which add additional fruity notes.
Hoppy Red X
DARK LAGER – 5,6 % Alc.
Schlager is our dark Christmas lager, with a good mix of cara-malt &hint of smoked malt. Spicy aroma and lightly sweet Christmas beer.
Red Ale – 5,2% Alc.
Hoppy Red X is a top-fermented “Christmas Red Ale” - with moderate bitterness, pleasant body from caramel malt, and a dense aroma from American hops.
IPA – 6,2 % Alc.
Geronimo is an exceptionally tasty top fermented US India Pale Ale with a significant bitterness and a relatively high sweetness
PORTER - 5,2 % ALC.
As the great composer, this is one of BrewPub København “classics” and “evergreens” on our taps. The authors Carsten Berthelsen and Rolf Nielsen has emphasize this beer as “…one of fifty beers, you should taste before you die”.
Cole is an unusual good porter with a fine bitterness, and composed of not less than seven different malts. These different malts contribute to the tones of chocolate, coffee and liquorice, and a faint hint of smoke.
WHEAT BEER - 4,9 % ALC.
BrewPub’s cloudy & refreshing wheat beer - as known from southern Germany - with a very mild bitterness.
VesterWeisse is based on wheat and pilsner malt and has a fruity aroma with a hint of banana, which - together with the spicy flavor notes – is released by the Bavarian wheat beer yeast during the fermentation.
